the way the stages are set up in that game, the nes one, theres no dead ends, it all goes in a big circle.  The way I made it, the only way to get to the school area is to go through all the other areas first.  In downtown special, you can get to the area that would become the school in this game by just going left.  I explained this in my original topic when I was working on my game.  It's also mentioned in the PLEASE READ folder that I included with my game.  Also, look at the "stage screens layout" bmp that I made. Compare the map layout of River City Ransom to Downtown Specials layout, thats the difference I was trying to achieve. RCR's is a point a to point b set up, whereas downtown specials has a non linear setup.

well there are a few dead ends so I guess this means no.

So, your JD is a mix between RCR style and JDSP style.

and don't forget Danger style

I played that game long ago I don't remember all off it anyway now I will make it with no dead ends (except some of them...better not to link them)

This is not to important but I need your opinion witch one do you think is best? (Is for story mode)

I am trying to make the map for the game but It really takes a lot of time to gather all images...I hope I can make the links well

what i did was just take a screen shot of the thumbnails for the stages and then cut them out in paint and make the map that way.

Well I needed to modify the values in the text files as well anyway this map thing is taking so loooooong

I don't understand. Are you talking about the minimap or a specific stage?

-6 events (only HiSchool team)
-2 duel stages
-1 Country (Story mode)

I would go along with the first of the three. The third would have also been a choice but, it seems a little too flashy with all the colors.


That being said, I'm really impressed by what I'm seeing so far, can't wait to see the finished product~
