Just beat this today and I have to say, it was a real blast. A lot of things are revamped compared to the original Jidaigeki and it's far more colorful too. There also appear to be some variations in how certain special moves work that I don't quite get, I've been hit with a few moves and found my color change to either purple or yellow. Maybe these are status effects of some kind? I know one of my AI buddies had a peculiar move where she'd reel back as if using Charge Punch only her entire body turned red. Not sure what this does exactly but, I assume it's some kind of Charge Punch variation.

On the flip side, this is also super freakin' hard after the 3rd wave of gangs. The bosses are far more relentless and the later ones have movesets that make them incredibly hard to approach and put down. You’re definitely going to have to make use of the Growth option and Secret Shops if you hope to survive against the later girls.

All in all, it was a great mod, one I hope gets an extended version like the original.

I think is the last version, by the way good description and about the moves they are in story mode? That means there is some kind of items equiped to your characters, give me more information I'm trying to find these to add to my jidaigeki.

Danger, te purple thing could be the poison item. You need to get over an enemy and punch it.

Yeah, they were in Story mode as I didn't do much with Duel. However, I think there is a way to get it in Duel mode since there's an option that allows you to equip special items (like the double jump item). I'll need to see for myself though when I fiddle with it again.

Sorinkun, ah yeah, I had a feeling it was some kind of poison mostly by the coloring. The yellow and red colors are an enigma, though I'm going to assume red means you're buffing your offenses or something similar. I had theorized that yellow might mean stun or paralysis but, that doesn't seem to be the case.
