After changing the fullscreen option from 1 to 0, I start up KD and it says something like "Not16Bit" then it closes. I was using a windows 7 that time, so I went to XP and it worked...at a ludicrous 1600-2000 FPS. Is there any way to normally play KD windowed?

I didn't know KD can be played windowed. Change 0 to 1 again, maybe?

try changing the screen resolution of your pc
