Video will be doable, but not for a while methinks... Between my actual job and working on pixel art, I just barely have free time -- which I've been using to try and learn Stencyl, as it appears I will be flying solo on this at the moment (i.e. still no word from my programming friend -_-).

But I'll keep ye posted! Who knows, maybe I'll master Stencyl quicker than I imagine and have something to show for it. That'd be awesome. XD

You know what it would be great, to create a database in the game to show you all the characters you meet the ones you didn't meet yet must be locked...you understand the idea right? What about womens?

Yep, I've already got a status screen (and it's contents) squared away; this includes a screen/menu for items/weapons owned and/or equipped, skills known, items you've purchased (and their effects), places you've been to, and enemies you've beaten in battle (and I also plan on having each enemy's info be revealed slowly as you defeat more of them!).

And no -- no women so far, really; the main reason being that I am sort of terrible at drawing them, and I'm too lazy to spend time working it out. XD

If I decide to add any later, I'll probably go the 'Double Dragon' route, and add one just one. Maybe I could do a gender-swapped Buttercup... haha, that actually sounds like a pretty awesome idea, now that I type it out... ^_^

If I somehow draw one will you accept it? Hey even NPC will be only mans, dude what town is that how did they come to life without womens

Thanks for the offer, but I honestly won't be adding any women for the time being; and as illogical as it may seem, there is also a reason for this within the story as well~!

Apparently, certain aspects of the game world will make much more sense when the story is revealed - so just stay tuned, for when that happens!

UPDATE!!! Heard from MY PROGRAMMING FRIEND TODAY!!! Woo-hoo! xD

So, he was very busy with stuff, and had been using a different e-mail; now that we've got it sorted out, I should be getting my next editor (for level/game-building) within a week or two. Then one step closer to completion~!

Will most likely update this post with a pic as a way of celebration - stay tuned!

UPDATE again~! (haha, and just on time too it seems xD)

While I have no official progress to state on the programming end of things (I've been in touch w/ my friend, yet Summer has kept him fairly busy, apparently -_-), I have still been slogging away on pixel work... Included here are an example of how shops will work/look in-game, (fairly basic, just like RCR was) and an updated size comparison chart that includes each previously-hidden character... ^_^

Sorry for the wait, to any whom were interested; my Summer has been half busy, half lazy~ @_@

I'll add some more at some point maybe, but I'd really rather keep most of them under wraps for the time being; I'm also looking into getting a website set up for the game in the near future, so I'll let you guys know when that happens!

Is that Scorpion's special în MK4?? First one, I mean.

I'll just say this (and I say this with 90% certainty, given the most recent info on RCR:U's release) - my game will be MUCH MUCH deeper in regards to character customization (though there will only be ONE playable character initially~), skills available, additional features, minigames, and number of areas. (and I say this in relation to their release info that says they'll have 100 areas -- my first city already has about 50 areas, so I'll be surpassing that pretty quickly as I finish working on the next few cities; I also have 13 gangs, 3 more than their 10, and I'm not even counting sub-gangs in that number; and just to clarify, this isn't me comparing my game to RCR:U in a competitive light, I'm just letting you guys know where my numbers stand currently! ^_^)

Also, the RPG aspect of my game will be much deeper than anything seen in any game of this sort; like I said, I'm 100% sure anyone playing my game will like it!! I'm very confident in that. The only problem I have is... Not having a team behind me to help finish the huge workload Ive been saddled with.

For the past 5 years I've been working on this; that's no short time. But I've been doing it solo minus the past 3/4 of the year when my programming friend signed on. In the future (after this project is finished, that is), I will most likely find a group of locals to help and actually pay them upfront (money has a magical way of motivating people lol). In such a scenario, I predict I could finish a second game in months -- EASILY.

As for the specials -- the first one is WAAAAAY old-school, I think from the 1980's...? Taken from the old side-scrolling shooter Bionic Commando!!! But -- Baldy DOES have a move very similar to Scorpion's Spear, but with his own unique twist (I don't want to spoil it before I post it--! xD)

But they have Co-op.
