Error message on Jidaigeki Remake Empty

When I was trying Jidaigeki remake, when I first clicked on the Icon, I got a D3D9.dll message, but when I tried looking for the dll, now it gives me another message, on a dll I already have (which I deleted the D3D9.dll because I heard it was a bad idea) is there a way around this?
